Recovery Circles

Recovery Circles are small, weekly support groups essential for long-term healing. Led by trained facilitators who prioritize group interaction over formal education, these circles foster a “magic” found in shared honesty, privacy, and mutual accountability.

Membership & Benefits

Participation is a requirement of free Café Membership, modeling the responsibility needed for recovery. By meeting for one hour each week, Members combat the isolation that often triggers substance abuse or mental health struggles.

In these circles, Members can:

  • Surrender and acknowledge powerlessness over certain destructive attitudes and behaviors.
  • Support others through compassionate listening and accountability.
  • Serve the group via honest feedback and reliability.

How Recovery Circles Work

Each session allows time for “check-ins” regarding weekly struggles and victories. This creates a sacred, authentic space for those who may be estranged from family to practice trust and healthy social interaction. Beyond emotional support, Circles offer practical benefits like informal resource referrals and a vital sense of community belonging.
