The Program

Designed exclusively for Café Members, the BTP prioritizes those with significant employment gaps or those seeking a fresh start in the workforce.

  • Duration: 6-week or 8-week courses.
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday (collaborative scheduling with instructors).
  • Eligibility: Open to all Café members via staff referral or direct inquiry.
  • Requirement: Brief application to confirm commitment and Café involvement.

Comprehensive Training

Members gain hands-on experience through a structured curriculum:

  • Technical Skills: Equipment operation, beverage prep, and portion control.
  • Maintenance: Station hygiene and equipment care.
  • Practical Experience: Solo station operation during the final two weeks.
  • Professional Growth: Training focuses on dependability, communication, and decision-making.

Graduation & Beyond

Upon completion, graduates receive a Certificate of Achievement and one-on-one resume-building assistance from our instructors to jumpstart their job search.
